Rhythm of the Saints: Tribute to Paul Simon is a richly textured tribute show led by guitarist and vocalist Gary Backstrom, formerly of the influential jamband Jiggle the Handle. Featuring an all‑star lineup—including members of Heavy Metal Horns, Drop Nineteens, and The Grass Gypsys—the seven‑piece ensemble brings Paul Simon’s eclectic catalog to vibrant life, spanning the soulful rhythms of Graceland and the percussion-forward textures of the original Rhythm of the Saints album.

Gary Backstrom Band is a powerhouse Boston-based ensemble led by guitarist and vocalist
Gary Backstrom, whose musical journey began in the late ’80s with the influential jam band
Jiggle the Handle (1989–2001) . Known for blending rock, soul, funk, jazz, and Latin grooves
into tight, unpredictable live performances, the band showcases Backstrom’s melodic
fluency and deft songwriting. With its multi-genre reach and rooted improvisational energy,
the Gary Backstrom Band furthers Backstrom’s legacy as one of the Northeast’s most
engaging live performers.

Zane Christopher is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. Raised on the Northshore in Beverly, MA, his music plays true to his roots. Before music, he played hockey, and even worked as a lobsterman in high school. He released his debut single "Road Song" in 2020 garnering positive reactions from the masses and 4 million listens. Since then, Zane has put out 10 singles, and his album Awaken comes out in January. He nearly sold out The Cut last year in December and is back with his band Saturday, November 29th 2025!

This 14 piece musical colossus is made up of top students from around the globe who pour their hearts and souls into this music that transcends all human boundaries, drenched in an absolutely POSITIVE VIBRATION! The 2hr performance includes Matt delivering occasional inspiring explanations and insights about Marley’s life further enhancing your experience. HURRICANE MELISSA RELIEF EFFORTS IN JAMAICA

HurricaneMelissa which pummeled Jamaica and Cuba, October 28 - 29/2025, was the largest hurricane to make landfall in the Atlantic basin and the third largest hurricane in human history. The recovery will take years and right now the inhabitants of Jamaica are struggling and need help. Gloucester
has a strong connection to Jamaica via the Smikle Education Foundation (based
in Gloucester) with its original mission to support children in the May Pen
area of the island, providing after school enrichment programs in academics,
creative arts, sports, and social organizations (e.g. Girls Guide, Boys Scout, 4H, and the Humble Lion Community Club). Hurricane
Melissa’s large-scale devastation has stirred the Smikle Foundation
along with the Humble Lion Community Club, to broaden their mission to
start providing disaster relief and assistance in communities that
were the most severely impacted. They are visiting communities to distribute
care packages and assess how they can best help the most vulnerable to rebuild
their lives.

The Foundation will have a table at the 12/5/25 Berklee Bob Marley Ensemble show where you can learn more about their relief efforts and make a contribution (tax deductible) if you so desire.

ABOUT CHRIS AND JOE

Winners of the 2020 New England Songwriting Competition for their song, “Your Town (is Gonna Change),” Chris + Joe (Chris Langathianos and Joe Wilkins) are a Cape Ann-based duo with deep roots in the Greater Boston music scene, are known for their tight harmonies, thoughtful songs, and engaging banter. Joe, a multi-instrumentalist, expert songwriter, and producer, teamed up with vocalist and live show producer, Langathianos, in 2013 and they have continued to capture audiences with their easy and melodic, yet diverse, style, witty banter and approachable sets.

From easy melodic folk to contemporary pop and rock, Chris + Joe bring a new twist to old favorites, mixed with deeply personal, award-winning originals, and a side of self-deprecating audience give-and-take.

ABOUT RENEE & JOE

Renee & Joe is a folk/rock duo whose music features both high energy vocal and instrumental arrangements as well as minimalist themes and gentle harmonies. They’ve released three full length albums since 2014 and can be seen playing around Cape Ann and greater New England as a duo and as a part of other musical ensembles. Renee (piano/vocals) & Joe (bass/guitar/vocals) also play in the neo-soul, cabaret band What Time Is It Mr. Fox?. They live on Cape Ann with their two children.

Carlos Menezes Jr’s BrassFed Nation is a horn-driven groove machine with a unique sound incorporating the styles and traditions of early Jazz, New Orleans Funk & Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Calypso, and Jamaican Ska!Founded  in 2013, The BrassFed Nation is dedicated to the advancement of horn-driven music through exposure and outreach in both education and local musical culture! The collective features 3 unique ensembles; Cape Ann Big Band, The Jambalaya Horns, and The 13-Piece DubTone Orchestra - all striving to inspire and connect musicians of all ages through performances, private studio lessons, workshops, and interactive clinics. ABOUT THIS PERFORMANCE:Paying homage to the infectious beats and sounds of New Orleans, the BrassFed Orchestra will cue the “Big Four'' and transport audience members to the streets of the Crescent City for a Holiday Celebration that is full of surprises! This year’s program will showcase members of The Jambalaya Horns and feature a number of guest instrumentalists from the New England music scene! Featured Vocalists are Henri Smith of New Orleans, Sadie Cook, Scarlett Berge, and Alessandro Schoc.

Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Tantric has built a legacy as one of the most distinctive voices in American rock. Blending post-grunge grit with soaring harmonies, acoustic textures, and a heavy edge, the band carved out a sound that bridges the raw emotion of the late ’90s and the driving force of modern rock.

Formed in 1999 and led by frontman Hugo Ferreira—the group’s powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist—Tantric quickly made waves with their signature mix of melodic depth and hard-hitting energy. Their music draws comparisons to post-grunge icons like Alice in Chains and Days of the New, a connection strengthened by their early collaboration with producer Toby Wright (known for his work with both bands). Wright’s influence helped shape Tantric’s signature layered vocal harmonies and dynamic sound.

Over the years, Tantric’s lineup and style have evolved, embracing new textures and creative directions. The addition of electric violinist Marcus Ratzenboeck introduced a haunting melodic element that reimagined their catalog and pushed their music into new territory. Today, Ferreira is joined by Matt Fuller (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Christian F. Lawrence (drums), bringing renewed fire and precision to Tantric’s live performances.

Known for powerful shows that blend nostalgia with innovation, Tantric continues to prove why they remain a force in American rock. WhiskeyTalk is a hard driving acoustic 4 piece out of Gloucester, MA featuring Paul Howard, Doug Turnbull, Jim Kuhns, and Carl Gasowski. All veterans of Boston area bands, each brings his own unique musical baggage along on a somewhat meandering and genre-bending cross country drive that picks up dialects from Rock and Roll, Country, Americana, Bluegrass, Irish, Punk, Maritime, and others.

The unmistakable voice of Boston comedy, Steve Sweeney, is bringing his most personal project yet to the big screen with a special screening of his new film, TOWNIE.
TOWNIE, written by and starring Steve Sweeney, is a heartfelt and hilarious blend of stand-up comedy and autobiographical storytelling. Directed by Ian Barrett and produced by Sweeney and Erin Hayes, with executive producer Peter Farrelly (Academy Award-winner for Green Book), the film explores the roots, grit, and unfiltered character of Charlestown, Massachusetts—Sweeney’s hometown.
“This is a project I’m extremely proud of,” says Sweeney. “It features portions of my live show and segments of my life in Charlestown. It’s funny, raw, and real—just like the people who raised me.”

Dead to the Core is Sam Bouve (Bass), Sean Galbraith (Guitar), John Spurr (Drums), Phil Todisco (Guitar), and Scotty King (Keys). This collective of North Shore original artists, songwriters, and producers came together in 2020 to honor the timeless catalog of the Grateful Dead with a fresh and innovative approach. Dead to the Core celebrates the Dead’s spirit with inspired playing, infused with unrestrained improvisations, and a real good time.

The Beautiful Losers was put together by Last Laugh vocalist, Devin Cordeiro. "I have always wanted to put together the most authentic Seger show but never had the time. Well I made time for it and as I planned for it all, top on the list was joining together the best musicians that the New England music scene had to offer. I started at the top of the list talent wise and just went for it. I am sure that you will recognize these guys and the bands that they have recorded and toured with! The truth is I couldn't have assembled a more talented, dedicated and professional group for this project and as a result, it has exceeded all expectations.

Scotty Austin fronted the multi platinum band Saving Abel from 2013-2021. He signed a solo
record deal in 2021 and has been headlining tours/shows since. Since parting ways, he has
been able to maximize the full potential of “Scotty Austin”. He performs songs from the Saving

You might be surprised by the level of talent in our little seaside city - come support some local singers up on the big beautiful stage! We'll then end the night with more DJ karaoke to make sure everyone who wants a chance up on our stage gets one!

Dueling Pianos is back. Bring your friends and have a Ball. Dueling Pianos is a massive "to the top of your lungs" sing along with all your friends! Two grand pianos are center-stage with a team of outrageously talented pianists that seem to know every song ever written.


Each show is different because it's all request. And you or your friends might get called up onstage for a bit of good humored fun and some unforgettable you-tube moments. These shows are request oriented, interactive sing-a-longs wherein two piano players sit across from each other and trade songs. The dueling piano audience is used for the dueling aspect of the show. Audience members are pitted one-side-against-the-other. Examples of rivalries include country vs. rock, men against women, etc.

Dueling piano shows often take unexpected turns, like involving wait staff members, changing song lyrics or roasting popular audience members. There aren't many boundaries. It's one big sing-along party, swaying to the music and bellowing-out familiar lyrics. You're not just being entertained by the piano players - you are part of the show!

Quinn rose to prominence in the mid 2000’s and continues to amaze audiences worldwide. Born in Boston in 1999 and raised in New Bedford Massachusetts, Quinn grew up in a musical household listening to classic rock, jazz and blues. He credits his early obsession with The Beatles as the impetus to pursue music as a full time career. He received his first guitar at the tender age of three and quickly demonstrated exceptional, natural talent. He gained national attention with appearances on afternoon and late-night television shows, the likes of The Tonight Show, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmell and  Conan O’Brian). In 2007, Quinn met music legend Buddy Guy who invited him onstage and would later invite him to tour as his support and record with him throughout the next decade.

Over the years, Quinn has evolved from a remarkable young talent, into a mature, emotive artist known for blending blues, rock, and classic influences. His discography includes multiple albums, with his fifth release, “Salvation,” recognized as his most personal work, exploring themes of loss, love, and resilience. He has been praised not only for his exceptional guitar skills but also for his songwriting, drawing inspiration from both his musical roots and his own life experiences.

Quinn’s personal journey profoundly influences his music and his stage performance, reflecting years of growth and emotional depth shaped by life experiences including personal loss and soulful introspection. His recent albums explore themes of love, loss, hardship, and redemption, which translate into performances full of honest emotion and at the same time, infectious raw energy and enthusiasm, making every concert  a personal and transformative experience for the audience.

When you mention the word “Reggae”, there are certain names that immediately spring to mind like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Third World to name a few, but another artist that is firmly on the tip of people’s tongues is Luciano. Born on the paradise island of Jamaica, as a youth he was heavily influenced and drawn to Bob Marley’s positive “One Love Movement”. As he got older and embarked on his own professional singing career, Luciano himself began to influence the lives of others around the world with his own spiritual interpretation of the movement. Since then, he has reigned as the “King Of Conscious Reggae Music” and is now one of the most iconic figures representing roots reggae today.
Luciano entered the reggae industry in the early 90’s and eventually teamed up with Phillip ‘Fattis’ Burrell, one of the few producers around at the time that supported conscious roots music. The quality material produced by this partnership, coupled with the fact that by now Luciano’s style and vibe was so heavily influenced by Bob Marley, caught the attention of Chris Blackwell of Island Records. Chris eventually signed Luciano and the collaboration produced a string of #1 hits including an album that was voted amongst the top 30 reggae albums of all time by Mojo magazine.
